what the hell is NEGATIVE PRACTICE?
This is not therapy. Not even its opposite.
Negative practice is not aimed at healing or improvement. It’s not a method, not a path, not a guidance, not a step toward anything. While most forms of therapy and consultancy turn toward recovery, repair, resolution, or relief, this practice stays with what is broken and irreparable.
It does not aim to improve your life. It does not hold space for your growth. It is not guided by the hope that despair is ultimately something to overcome.
Negative practice is not an alternative therapeutic method. It does not compete with other approaches, because it does not aim to fix. It offers nothing better. It is for those who no longer believe in salvation of any kind.
It speaks to those with nothing left to rehabilitate, or for whom the promise of healing has become irritating, dishonest, or laughable.
Negative practice is not here to take hope away—but to remain where it used to be. If love means staying with what hurts, then negative practice is a form of love. It is a practice of shared despair, confusion, and not-knowing. A space to cry or laugh in despair.
Not to cure, progress, or improve—just to fail together.
