[apart from being a pathetic failure] I am a Ukrainian-born philosopher and the founder of a negative psychoanalytic approach. With over 300 patients, I have extensive experience as a negative practitioner.
At present, I hold the position of a Visiting Professor at University College Cork and University College Dublin. I am also a Director of the Institute of Psychoanalysis, Global Center for Advanced Studies
I earned my PhD studying psychoanalysis at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts under the supervision of Alenka Zupančič, who was herself supervised by Alain Badiou and Slavoj Žižek. In addition, I studied existential therapy at the University of Oxford and hold certification as an APPA philosophical counselor.
My recent publications appeared in AEON, Springer, Sublation Media, 3:am Magazine, Penumbr(a) Journal, The Philosophical Salon, among others.
My latest book, Negative Psychoanalysis for the Living Dead: Philosophical Pessimism and the Death Drive, was published by Palgrave in 2023.
